Snow/ Snap Peas

I bought some Snow/Snap peas (I think they are the same thing) Would these be good to give to LO (6 months)? I thought they looked like they were a good shape for him to hang on to. Would I give them to him raw or lightly steamed? I feel so lost with BLW

I'd steam them, doubt he'd get very far with them raw as they'd take teeth to get through! Adam has had them, he wasn't terribly keen. He LOVED steamed baby corn though.

Well I steamed them and gave them to him he loved to gum them and he finally got it to open and then suck sucked the little peas out and spit them out of his mouth. It did keep him happy for about 30 minutes and he seams to be getting better bringing the food to his mouth and gumming. So even though he didn't eat anything I would say it was a success.
