Snowman handprint ornaments

We had a Mommy Meetup today (me and Hayden) with some of the ladies from church. And they had a craft set up for the kids where they took clear glass ornaments (just the round balls) and we put some red tinsel inside them then painted the kids hand with white paint and set the ornament in their hand and had them grab onto it to put their handprint. Then you let it dry and decorate them where it looks like little snowmen. They came out adorable so thought I'd share

Those aren't the ones we made because when we got home I put Hayden's on the bar and put him down for a nap, when he got up he went to look at it, picked it up and dropped it Shattered into 1000 pieces I was so sad because it came out perfect!!! Which can be hard with a toddler to get their fingers all spread, not smeared, etc...it was perfect. Very sad

But I think I'm going to go get the stuff and do them with all 3 of the boys because they are so cute!

they are so beautiful - it would be a lovely tradition to make a new one each year and have their name and the year printed on it to see how big they grow. Although in saying that, for you, with soon to be 4 kids, you're tree would soon get bogged down with glass baubles if you did one for each child every year!

I'm so sorry to hear that the one Hayden made got broken. Hopefully you'll be able to make another one that is just as perfect!
