So close, yet so far to finalising our names!

Yep, you're all right. I actually had my mum and sister come over today and spoke to them. The name Inaya has started to grow on them already and they didn't say much when I said about the name, today they just said 'Oh ok, its quite nice'. It makes me feel so much better knowing that they've said that (even if they don't mean it!)

Hubby and I are happy and that's what matters :)

Thanks everyone xxxxxxxxxxx

Oo, I LOVE Inaya... I think its a beautiful name! Personally, Elissa is a nice name, but I think I've heard it too often

I like the spelling of Ayden :) Good luck!

me personally i like Elissa most but (and thats a big but) Inaya to me goes better with Aydin/Ayden.
but personally it is your choice hun. when we chose the name for my little man my mum hated it and she really put it down and quite frankly i made her visit so uncomfortable she left early as i couldnt put up with her like that and when she left i cried my eyes out.
she then text me saying sorry and that its my choice this that and the other.
then when the twins were 3 weeks old she turned around and said she couldnt imagine him being called anything else and that his name really suited him and that shes glad that her comments didnt affect me into changing it.
i over time they will get used to it, they will have to as its your child and yours and your DH choice and no one elses, if you love the name they will grow to love it as well.

and with Aydin/Ayden i love the difference in the spelling of the name really makes it an original, i like Aydin most.
:hugs: stay strong and go with what your heart is set on. xx
