So conflicted, help!

Basically I have three older half brothers, we share the same Dad. I've always known about them as my Dad brought them over to see me when I was a toddler so I obviously can't remember I've just seen pictures of us. My Dad & I aren't overly close & find it hard bringing up family matters such as meeting my three half brothers, his family don't like my Mum & I found nasty letters my gran & other members of the family wrote to her so I couldn't care less about them, I just want to know about my brothers & want to meet them, I found them on my Dad's Facebook (which I didn't know he had!) & I don't know if I should message them, if they reject me it won't be a big loss but if they accept my I'll have my three half brothers in my life, should I or shouldn't I?!​

If it was me I'd go for it you basically said yourself you have nothing to lose but a lot to gain. Plus u might always wonder 'what if' if you footy try. Good luck xx

I'd definitely go for it, you'll only have regrets if you don't.. The worst they can say is no honey. Siblings are very important to me, my lo has a half brother and I hope he doesn't fall into the same scary situation you are.

I've not spoken to him in like a month, I text him & he hasn't even bothered replying so i've just gone ahead and messaged two of them on Facebook, so fingers crossed! x​
