So excited about gender reveal party tomorrow!!

So tomorrow we are having our gender reveal party and I am so incredibly excited!! DH and I went to the ultrasound on Tuesday but we both closed our eyes when it came time for her to get the gender shot! So my family and close friends will be at the party and I have made sure that NO ONE knows the gender!

I have a feeling it is a boy but that is really just a gut feeling. My husband thinks its a boy because when we were with the ultrasound tech and had our eyes closed she had a hard time getting baby positioned right to get a good shot and when she finally was able to she said..."there it is". So he thinks by "it" she meant the little boy part! I think by "it" she could have meant the right position...but who knows!

I am so excited I could explode! Tomorrow night can't come fast enough!

How exciting!u have amazing will power to know u can peak at the gender lol....we are finding out on wednesday and then doing a little gender reveal party on frieday, but I wont be able to not know, im going to find out right away! Lol cant wait for an uldate

When DH and I went in for the ultrasound the tech put a red flag on our chart that we did not want to find out the gender right away. So we were able to see most of the ultrasound and then when it came time to get the gender shot she had us close our eyes. After the ultrasound she took the gender shot photo that she typed "boy" or "girl" on and put it in a sealed envelope and gave it to me. I then took the sealed envelope to the mall where they have a place that makes cookie cakes. I had already called and spoken with someone over the phone regarding what I wanted. So I instructed them that if it was a girl to decorate it in purple with tutu's and if it was a boy then to decorate it with green and tennis shoes...(that was the theme of the party)...and I also made sure to make it VERY clear to have them completely tape the box shut so when my sister-in-law picked it up she wouldn't be able to peak! Then during the party we opened the box and revealed what it said! It was so fun!!

The radiologists over here (UK) are usually not that accommodating

I might ask if they will do it that way though - would be so cool to reveal to everyone at the same time as finding out!
