So..... have you?...

I had to use it in my coffee when I was still Breastfeeding as I was about to go to butlins so had frozen the cows milk night before.

Made my coffee SO sweet, was yummy :haha:

I never have but I've never really expressed so it's probably just because it's not as easy to try it.

 think I would rather have my coffee black, thankyouverymuch :coffee:

I will have to try it once expressing so I know what gone-off stuff tastes like, vom. Never tried formula with Logan, think it was the guilt of having to give it to him as my supply went. If it tasted horrible I would have felt awful :dohh:

I thought it was gross. Tasted like coconut milk but a bit different...? Maybe like a bit of unsalted butter melted in?

I've tried it loads of times. In the beginning I would suck a bit out every day to check there was some there! And I've even given a bit to my friends to try. I don't really like the taste of it though.

Going on 10 months of breastfeeding and never tried it! Just really have 0 desire to do so LOL

Like sugar water :) assume that's why hospitals give babies sugar water to calm them for things like blood tests. I agree formula is rotten! Give me boob milk any day over that stuff haha! X

Yes it was sweet. I now ff and it tastes awful.. like blood. Seriously!

I've tasted breast milk and formula....breast milk was much better but it still tasted weird.

I don't get why people are grossed out about it though...especially when babies are gulping it down...maybe someone can explain the logic. Cow's milk comes from cow boobies

I can drink cow milk because I don't see it coming out. If I saw it coming, I wouldn't want to drink it but because I buy it in a carton, I don't associate it with cow nipples. I see mine come out so the thought of drinking after seeing it come out makes me gag. It's weird, I know. My sister who FF her girls didn't want to touch the bottle my milk was in when she fed DD because it freaked her out that there was breastmilk in it and my mom got freaked out when the babies threw up on her because it was my milk. Although they are extreme I guess it's that thought of knowing where the milk came from that grosses people out. I could never taste it for that reason but feel that it is best for my babies so I have no problem giving it to them.

Hang on.. you can drink it direct from the source? I'm impressed! :haha:

This description made me want to vomit. ugh.

I never tried it, just had zero desire to. The thought makes me a bit sick. The thought of cows milk makes me sick too and it stinks! I've never tried formula but it smells like hot cardboard to me..

I was having this conversation yesterday with my friends from antenatal class. I was surprised that everyone said it tasted sweet. I thought mine did as I eat too much chocolate :haha: I hate the taste of cows milk, much prefer the taste of breast milk - not that I drink it reguarly lol, save the priviledge for LO xxx

Haven't tried it yet, but I get what people mean about seeing where it comes from.

I once milked a cow at a farm and couldn't drink milk for months after, the thought of drinking my breastmilk hasn't really crossed my mind, might try some in my cuppa now!

Possibly the only plus point of my very saggy boobs. I guess I could also keep my phone safe underneath one of them. There's always that.

No but i tasted formula and found it really dry? don't know why Ivy loves it so much!

I'm surprised at how many people are grossed out by the idea. I mean, I don't exactly gulp it down but frequently get sprayed when LO pops off and think nothing of licking it off my hand!!

There is also a little part of me that thinks I wouldn't give either of my DD's something I wouldn't eat myself, obviously breast milk is a little different but I don't see it as a weird thing.

It took 5 months of trying before DD2 accepted a bottle so we had a lot of expressed milk going spare which my toddler was thrilled about. I didn't offer it to her but she kept asking for it, DH felt a bit strange about her having it at first but I pointed out that she was having it direct from source until a few months ago. Now DD1 is really disappointed that DD2 is finishing all her bottles :haha:
