I decided that there was no way I could wait any longer and booked myself a private scan, found somewhere close that does it for £70, which is still a lot of money but no where near as expensive as some places.
So I went on Thursday, I was so scared it was untrue.
It was a nice place and we went straight in, which is great when you've got a full bladder and dying for a wee!!
Everything was fine, it was such a relief. They have put me back nearly two weeks, which explains my negative tests, I thought I must of ovulated later than I thought, but there was a healthy heartbeat so thats the main thing (crazy to think something 13mm big has a heartbeat!).
It was the quickest £70 I've ever spent though, we were in and out of the building within 10 minutes, got 5 photo's of my 'bean' though (thats all the baby looks like on them!), although the time spent in there and the photo's certainly weren't worth £70 - the peice of mind definately was and I'm so glad I went - I want to go back every week now...... think DH might have something to say about that............. lol
