Following a thread from a while back about a lump i found on my breast..

Turns out it's a Fibroadenoma - Had ultrasound and they took liquid from it.. which hurt!!! hehe

Anybody else had this?

Just wondering as you can choose to have it removed as they can sometimes grow..

Is this the same as fibrocystic changes?

I've had a lump in my breast for a while and finally had it checked last month.

While obviously I'm releaved that it's nothing serious, there still is a lump in my breast which does not feel nice and is tender to the touch.

Was told that I'm quite young to get this as usually it happens to women in their 30s and should go away after menopause...so still 25-30 years to go.
Not sure I want to live that long with a lump in my breast so may possibly ask GP about options and whether they'd advise a removal at all.[I know, I know....major surgery and all...]
