I haven't been on this forum in months and didn't really post much before...but thought I would get back into it to have a place to share with other mommies.
My beautiful baby boy, Finnley George was born May 29, 2011. 4 days overdue, 13 hours of labour, 2 hours of pushing, no epidural, slight episiotomy. He was 8lbs 5oz. He turned 9 months yesterday. He has been an absolute joy so far. Crawling like a pro since 6 months, walking with the aid of furniture or push toys, 4 teeth, smiley and laughing all the time. Can't say enough good about him.
Recovery was a bit more rough than I imagined and breastfeeding was harder than I thought (I had oversupply and very forceful let down). And I basically had to hold him while he slept for the first 2 months but I wouldn't change a thing. Thinking about trying for number 2 already! Here is a birth and current picture of my little Finn!
