I posted last week that I was worried because I failed my 1hr glucose screening test. At my Dr they use 130 as a cutoff, my level was at 135. So yesterday I had to go and do the 3 hr glucose test. Just got an email from my Dr's office saying everything came back normal. I know gd isn't the end of the world, but I just didn't want to add one more thing to worry about. So I'm pretty happy right now! :)

That must be a relief! It's always lousy going for the 3h then waiting for results. Glad everything came back ok :)

That's great news! I have to have my first ever gtt on the 14th. Never had to have it before, hope I past. It don't understand why I have to now. Seems as they never bothered before. Just a new bit of research shows that pcos can mean you will suffer with that gd in pregnancy. Fx'd I pass too! x

That would make sense gemstone since a lot of women with pcos have insulin resistance. Here everybody has to do it between 24 and 28 weeks. With my son, my 1hr was perfectly normal so this was my first time doing the 3hr. Good luck on yours!
