Is anyone else being sick still in the second trimester. Some days I can't keep anything down and its so draining. I swear I have tried every cure and remedy but nothing has worked.

My little man is obviously playing football with my insides or something.

Please tell me i'm not alone, xx:cry:

Hey hun have you tried sucking on something sour. Preggy pops worked pretty well for me but when I'm out I just use life savors lol. I always have to pop them on my way home from work. I hope you start feeling better soon!! :hugs:

Think of it this way.........little man is talking to you!!

I got my body into a routine that worked for me. As soon as i got out of bed i had a biggggg glass of water then stayed next to the loo. When that came up it wasnt so bad as it was only liquid. Then i could rush downstairs and eat weetabix or cornflakes then so long as i ate something small every 2 hours i wouldnt feel so nauseous during the day and wouldnt throw up again/ touch wood. Bananas worked for me keeping the feeling at bay too.
Not sure if this would help but worth a go.......i swore by it. The only time it was different was if i had a lie in on the weekend, if i didnt have that water early enough i felt bad all day.
Anyway glad your lil bump is doing well:happydance:

Thank you, i'll give this a go, it sounds like quite a good idea, i'll let you know if it works for me too, fingers crossed xx

I had sickness until around 14 weeks, it started to fade but would still have days until week 18 where I would be sick or occasionally feel it, I ended up having preggo pops which helped me loads

im still very ocassionaly sick in th morning and nauseas i have been having mints they help settle my tummy xx

it's funny how completely different things seem to work for different people! The taste and smell of mint just makes me wretch! I've even switched to apple flavoured kids tooth paste!

I sip water whenever I wake up in the night and really make sure that I eat regularly. On Saturday I didn't eat when I had been eating during the week and I threw up every six hours all weekend. Lovely.

It might be worth mentioning to your midwife or dr if you haven't already, especially if it's causing you problems.

im 17 weeks now and thought all those sickness are gone, but im having so much headache and nauseas every morning, don`t have no energy at all to go work. Scared i might collapse on the road sometimes, as my temperature goes up and down. Its horrible these sickness. I just don`t want to believe it anymore that im going to get over these sicknesses.

I totally know how you feel. I thought when i got to 17weeks things would get a bit better, but no such luck yet xx:hugs:

:hugs:

I feel for you ladies, my morning sickness didn't subside until I was 20 weeks.
What really helped for me was bread. It seemed to fill the empty/sick feeling. Sometimes that didn't help at all and I just had to make a visit to the toilet, usually after that I was able to keep things down.

I hope you all start feeling better so you can start enjoying your pregnancies more :hugs:
