and it was awful. Most moms didn't show up and the there was hardly any conversation between the four of us. I was definitely the "strange" one. The one conversation that really flowed was when they were discussing the benefits of sleep training and how the worst they ever did was co-sleep as it just made sleep training harder. They basically trashed my entire parenting style in a matter of 2 hours, eek! I still haven't found any other moms who lean towards natural parenting.

Sorry to hear it didn't go well Have you tried looking for a group on meetup.com? I found a local attachment parenting group on there and have met some lovely moms who are extended BFers, co-sleeping crunchy types

Thanks! I never even thought of looking for an AP group on meetup. This play date was posted on my community meetup page. I think I may go try finding one now!
