ok so last month i got 4 bfps then on the 5th of this month started bleeding so i retested about the 10th and it was negative? so i guessed tht i'd miscarried (even though surely wouldnt the hormones still be in my body so short after?) so i got my bfps over the last few days, so now im just classing the 5th as my lmp ? i never called the docs when it happened but do i advise them of this? what do i need to do now? i know i ovulated on the 13th though?

Didn't want to read & run! I don't know honestly. Just thought I'd offer some support. You might feel better if you see your doc & explain it but your still at very early days & there's nothing they can do for you anyway. Why don't you wait until your period is due & if it doesn't come then explain all to the doc?

I would phone the dr. pregnancy hormones diminish quickly after an early m/c. they will probably count the first day of blood as cd1, then give you an early dating scan

This sounds very similar to what happened to me last month. They counted the first day of my miscarriage as my LMP although I know I ovulated later in the cycle so I'm not as far on as they would estimate from that date. Just explain it to the doctors, ultimately it won't make much difference because your due date will be based on scan measurements.
Oh, and I tested after starting bleeding (probably about a week after and it was negative so I think the hormones can go down very quickly especially when it happens so early.
