Okay, I have a weird question. I was doing some research (and getting excited) about these softcups and one reviewer said her husband would ejaculate into the cup THEN she put it in. :saywhat:

I really hope that's not what we're supposed to do. My hubby is all for BD'ing and using the cup as a barrier....but I don't think he'd like the "please deposit your sample here" approach. :rofl:

Its true that some people use them that way but most people put them in after BDing to keep the swimmers in!!!!! I know my DH would hate the idea of depositing in the cup too!!!!
I just put them in straight after BDing & leave it in til the morning!

the doctors actuall say that before tring IUI try the soft cups with sperm in it. i think it would be harder to insert it that way. my husband calls them c** catchers. he is convienced the pre-seed and those C** catchers worked. he tells people about them when he hears they are trying and he is an Army Staff Sergeant. he is serious too. i have 5 children and he has 1 that mom took from hima while in Iraac and has not given him an address. his heart has been broke for 10 yrs while we have searched to find her during the time he has served his country. i was so happy to give him this hift

so you put these in AFTER the deed, to hold sperm in? i googled them and they are for periods, they wont 'damage' the lil soliders will they?! again, apologizes for being "dumb" jus new to site and learning all your tips! they (the tips on all the threads) are great by they way girls, thanks so much, anything that can help is appreciated! :hugs:

Hi HottyH! Apparently no they don't do any damage, and in fact help with conceiving by keeping the little swimmers near your cervix after sex. I'm trying them for the first time, hoping for my BFP!

This will be our first cycle using Pre Seed and a SoftCup, I just the Nuva Ring for some time so I think it is on the same line for inserting. We will be testing June 17th ish, so hopefully this is our month. Along with the pre seed and soft cup I am taking 1500mg of Metformin, 100 mg of Clomid, Hcg on Day 17, Honey and Cinnamon, and the SMEM... Hopefully we get our first BFP after 24 months of trying

Confession: I chickened out on the softcups today. :dohh:

DH asked if I needed him to get me one after we DTD and I just gave him a wide-eyed look of fear. :haha:

I promised I would use them next time. We're only CD8 and following SMEP, so I'll use a softcup on Sunday. :shy:
