Hi guys I had a miscarriage about 4-5 weeks ago as soon as I stop bleeding me and my partner started trying immediately, we are so desperate to get pregnant again I had a test done at the doctors last week as I was getting all the signs and symptoms that I was pregnant again to our dismay it was negative which was of course devastating. The doctor has given me folic acid and I'm taking then every single day.
No offense to people that do this but I don't want the stress of finding out when I'm ovulating or when my cycle is just wondering if any of you have got any advice for us as we are just so desperate to get pregnant again it's unbelievable how much we want this I think we got to attached from last time even though i was 9 weeks gone, would appreciate anything you have got to say xxx

Hi hon. I've seen some of your other posts and wanted to let you know that there's any number of things you can do without the extra ovulation testing or temping. Mostly just relax and take it easy, eat healthy, and exercise. The less stress you put on yourself, the better and hopefully the easier it will be to get pregnant the next time. It's important to note that one miscarriage does not necessarily mean you'll be prone to more but it is likely you'll experience more worry during your first trimester the next time you get pregnant. Your fertility goes up significantly for a few months (I've seen anywhere from 3-6 months) after a miscarriage so that should help your chances as well. Folic acid is a good supplement to take and I've seen alot of women who have taken evening primrose oil though I've never tried it myself. One last thing, it's very likely you'll have pregnancy symptoms up the wazoo for a while yet. After a loss, I've usually had pregnancy symptoms for a few months, especially the week leading up to my period. It's just your hormones regulating again.

So hang in there and hope you get your take home baby soon!

Thank you soooo much for your advice most of your advice is new to me so thank you for that we just so hoping it happens again soon can you get that primrose oil from over the counter or will it need to be prescribed? Xx

Hi Hun sorry for your loss I had a mc last January me and dh started straight away as well but I didn't manage to full again until this January in the end I just started giving up and started to forget about trying for a baby and it just happened I found out the day after dh birthday I am now 8 + 4 will a strong heartbeat and a baby moving around on the scan I think the best advice is to stop worrying and take it as it comes xx

I'm not sure if you can find it at any drugstore or pharmacy but I've seen where ladies have ordered if off of Amazon (I think). I'm sure if you went to a health food store, they could probably point you in a good direction too.

It takes awhile to recover from a MC, give yourself time you will get there. DTD every 2-3 days you should have covered all the bases then...
