Hi everyone. I'm new here, just joined today as I have a question. I'm really scared and frightened at the moment... I dont have anyone to turn to about it.

I realised I was having (or was about to have) a miscarriage a couple days ago, since my period had began again. I would have only been about 7 weeks today, but just a few hours ago in the bathroom, something happened which I just dont have a clue about...

... it was roughly the size of a grape, completely solid (no mushyness - I've already had that earlier), I couldnt really tell the colour of it as my period had hidden the truth really... but I think it was lightish. It was strangely shaped... sort of oval at the top and then curved at the bottom, like this comma --> ,

... just talking about it makes me feel like passing out. I cant figure out what it is.. I mean.. there isnt much possibility that could come out of there, right? I was so scared, I couldnt stand it, I flushed it away.

I just want to know what it was... I would appreciate anyones thoughts on this. I dont think I'll be able to sleep without knowing tonight. Tried to look it up online but I'm just not finding what I'm looking for but nor do I know what to search for

Thanks everyone

my friends experienced a couple of miscarages and has said she experienced similar she also had bad stomach pains.sorry i cant help anymore:(

Hi hunni!! i added u to my contacts, umm firstly did u contact ur gp or if ur in uk have u phoned NHS direct as they could get u an out of hours appointment? xxxx

Hun I would see if you can get to see a doctor, as you need one anyways if you are pregnant or having a miscarriage. I have lost two babies, and what your describing could be what your thinking or it could be solid blood clots which you can have. The only true way to know for sure is a ultrasound.

My heart goes to you sweetie, but get yourself to a doc ok

Hi hun...I am so sorry you are going through this.:hugs: When I miscarried I had terrible labour like pains and I passed several large items (tmi i know). To be quite honest, the grape-like tissue was probably fetal tissue. My placenta was the last to pass and it was very large. My heart goes out to you right now  If you haven't already called your doc I would suggest calling asap. They will be able to prescribe you some much needed pain medicine.

Dear Sugar-Pop,

I have had a miscarriage in September and had excessive bleeding and went to the dr and they said I was miscarrying but the placenta didnt come out on its own. So I needed to get a D & C. I strongly suggest that U get checked by a doctor ASAP, My prayers and thought are with you!

Sorry to hear about what you are going through. I think you should get it checked out with a scan to make sure that there is nothing in there. Hope ok.

:hug:So sorry your going through this, but it would be best if you get checked over by your GP x x

So sorry to hear of your loss hunny, its a fightening scary time and lack of information as to what is going on doesn't help does it?

I'd strongly suggest you read this thread at the top of this section.....its a wonderfully informative, long description and FAQ about miscarriage.

What you passed could have been a cyst.....but you do need to get checked out.

Im sorry, i have nothing to add just wanted to say im sorry for your loss and give you massive
