I went with my friend to her OB appt yesterday. It was in the hospital clinic, because it was her OB's day. The office is shared with 3 OBs.

What I found so wrong, there was one waiting room for all OBs, and one of them was performing abortions. So they had pregnant women, women getting abortions done, and women that have issues ttc in the same waiting room. I just couldn't believe that. I think it's highly insensitive to the women with issues ttc, as well as the pregnant women.

and the ones getting abortions. While we never would get one you don't know their circumstances so it is insensitive to them as well. If a girl is raped and waiting to get an abortion the last thing she wants to see is a pregnant woman. Or if a woman is pregnant with a baby that won't make it (I personally would abort if there was something wrong..no need to cause any living creature pain) then the last thing she wants to see is a woman with a happy and healthy pregnancy

I could see some ladies being sensitive to that. For me, it doesn't really bother me. Where I go, there are 6 different doctors and 5 nurse practitioners. There are always a lot of other women in the waiting room while I'm there for various reasons. It never bothers be. Sometimes I catch myself wondering what different ladies are there for, but I always like seeing the big pregnant bellies because it gives me hope! :) As much as we would like to sometimes, we can't live in a bubble to keep us from being exposed to others' pregnancies. That's why we have this wonderful site...a place for all the TTC'ers to come together. :0)

I could see that being realy insensative to alot of people, they realy should rethink how they are going about that.
On a slightly different note though please be aware because you can never tell what way a thread could go there are some rules preventing discusions of certain issues so as to avoid upset to some, not sure if this would come under that rule or not
