I found out I was expecting in October and when the fertility specialist performed the first ultrasound, they saw a polyp. I was told there was nothing they could do, however it could increase my chances of a miscarriage. In November, we lost our sweet baby and my first cycle since the miscarriage started 1/21/16 (with the assistance of prometrium since I usually can't start on my own). Once my cycle ended, I was brought into the office for a Sonohysterogram (SHG) on 2/1 to make sure the polyp had been removed when I had my D&C. I had to have this procedure done before the doc would start my next round of clomid in case the polyp had to be removed first.
Since then I have has light bleeding. Not as heavy as my cycle but definitely more than spotting. I was told that the saline from the SHG could have irritated my lining and my body is expelling, however I feel like it is a full fledge aunt flow. Has anyone else experienced this?
