Aww, don't cry doll. I do sympathise a bit - it sucks when your warm weather turns nasty on you. Or when your gas heating goes out....keep warm!

I was just told that the plows are out... F***! Apparently Karma is kicking my ass now... Serves me right!

brrrr, its just turned 9pm, Naomi has been asleep for an hour already (it seems she sleeps much better with a cold bedroom... especially when she's ill - weird child!) i'm getting DH to make a cuppa and we're going up to bed to hibernate under the duvet.

oh and the gas man called - we're on for wednesday afternoon wahoooooooooo!!!!!

By the way I HATE snow. Last year I was in a horrible car accident from ice on a bridge during a snow storm... Doing 10mph on a bridge and I spun out hit the side of the bridge 3 different times. Finally came to a stop with my drivers side door scraped up against the bridge wall. Had to climb out the front window onto the hood and down the front of the car where the cop and I both fell on our asses from the ice... I was lucky the bridge held and I was going so slow... he took me to a hotel to wait for my husband to drive 2 hours to come get me.. took him almost 5 to get there... we drive for a living in all kinds of weather. Both have lots of experience, just a bad time...

well, I'm still alive this morning - despite waking up multiple times to sneeze and blow my nose Naomi slept for over 11hours though in a block!

one more day then i can do the washing up and have a bath lol

DH tried to be helpful and said - you can have a shower if you want to - the power shower might work... hmmm the power shower broke about a year ago then when it does work it switches between boiling hot and freezing cold... oh and then i'd have wet hair and no heating - probably not a good idea!

In my own bid for sympathy, i would like to point out that it is -30C today, not even counting the wind.

the problem i just realised is this - the gas man is fixing the gas in the afternoon tomorrow - we have to go out to my mums bday meal in the evening... what the heck am i gonna do if he's not done in time for me to have a shower and wash my hair before we have to go out??? it's not even as if we can leave early and go to my sisters place to get ready cause the dogs will eat the gas man... grrrr
