Sore baby girl

My daughter is 9days old and she looks like she's getting irrated down by her moomoo the crease between her legs and moomoo also look very sore anyone got any advice on what I can do to help her? It looks very red and painful

Weleda diaper cream is the best! Any diaper cream has to be better than none though.

Oh, and obviously just try to generally keep things as dry as possible down there. Air helps too.

Are you using wipes? If so she may be reacting to a particular brand type.

Use a good barrier cream but pat her dry before you put it on. If possible diaper free time.

When we first switched from the newborn diapers the hospital gave us to snug n dry huggies, our little girl broke out in a rash something terrible! We used California baby diaper rash cream (because i originally intended to cloth diaper, but whew, that didnt work out for us ), but recently when she has had some red areas or diaper rash, we have been using butt paste (bourdreaux's i believe it is) and the red tube (maximum strength) clears up terrible diaper rash in a day or so of applying it... i agree with the previous response that it could be wipes, diapers, etc. its kinda trial and error until you find out what baby might be sensitive to

We used WaterWipes which are 99.9% water and 0.1% fruit extract. When my daughter got a sore bum from pooping constantly, Sudocrem sorted it very quickly. Metanium is also good.

It's nappy rash. Regular changing (we did it before every feed, day and night, at first) and then some sort of barrier cream, Sudocrem or Weleda. And then just make sure you aren't using any fragranced products, like fragranced wipes or bath soaps, just to make sure she's not reacting to that.

johnsons first touch barrier cream or metanium. clean with water and cotton wool and regular changing xx
