i've noticed when i get up out of bed my boobs suddenly feel really really tender. it's strange, it's almost like uncomfortable tingling. if i am ever lying down for a long period, then i have to hold my chest when getting up to stop the weird sore sensation.

anyone else getting this? sorry if this was TMI!

I always get really sore boobs at the beginning of pregnancy. But by 8 weeks it's usually worn off.
I know that if I wear underwired bras all day they absolutely kill when I take it off. And also if I don't wear a sleepbra to bed, they really ache in the morning.. kind of like what you're describing. They need to be supported pretty much all the time in pregnancy, as they are gettin ready to produce milk and are getting bigger.
Hope it ease soon :)

i do have a fitted jockey nightie i could wear but it's so freaking hot here at the moment (it's summer in nz). i suppose if i sleep with just a sheet it would be ok. it does help when i wear something supportive because man, wobbling = yowies lol

Ann-Marie! Lucky!! 8 weeks? I'm 13 weeks and I've still got sore breasts!

Back at around 7-8 weeks they were really sore. I'd have to sleep clutching a pillow to keep them in place and when I got up I'd have to hold the pillow till I was upright. Now they're not as bad but I got elbowed in the chest on Saturday by accident. I was reminded that they're not better yet LOL. Ouch

I think it's because I wear those Emma Jane support bras like all the time. Like I say.. if I haven't got them washed in time, and wear an underwired one, or none at all, they do really ache again...... And my god they've got so BIG

Yeh same here. I need to get more bras now.
I'm wearing sports bras and I have one (sigh) maternity bra.

If I run out and have to settle for an underwire then I suffer. Especially on the sides. They wont fit all in there anymore LOL

I get this, when they've been flat (you know what I mean) all night and then stand up and it's like gravity is too much for them! Really tingly and tender, normally I hold onto them for a while till they adjust themselves to me standing up! Haha! OH laughs at me for this!

Totally can relate to all of this. Sometimes I just wear a soft, stretchy sports bra. Not really a lot of support but enough for sleeping in.
