Sore throat medication

I think I've got my OHs man flu starting on me as my throat is absolutely aching What medication can I take for a sore throat? xxx

Honey and lemon is all I've heard. You can also take paracetamol x

paracetamol and drink lemon tea with honey in it

Salt and warm water gargle
1/2 hydrogen peroxide 1/2 water and gargle
Honey & Lemon throat drops

...the list of "safe medications" that my doctor gave me also includes Chloroseptic Throat Spray.
