Ummm this is a little embarrassing but how do I add a profile picture? Also, how do I send friend requests to other members? I have been searching the site for like an hour now trying to do both of these things and I'm starting to think that maybe it has something to do with being on safari instead of a PC (or firefox).. help appreciated.

I think it might be a case of you not having enough posts yet. For some features you need to have 5-10 posts to gain access

You should be able to do both as a new member

For an avatar, go to your 'User CP' (top left, on the navbar) and select 'Edit Avatar'.

To befriend someone, you can go to the users profile, click the 'Friends' tab and their should be a 'Befriend' link on the right.
