Soy/birth defects?????

Hey girls!! I was wanting to try soy this cycle..... But I read from some ladies that it might have been the cause of birth defects..... Opinions please?!?! Thanks a bunch!!

I would love the answer to this too!! I hadn't any idea it could do that. All I drink is soy milk since I cannot have dairy. Well with my coffee at a least.

Soy contains a fake estrogen and can cause fertility issues if it causes estrogen to be too high during the wrong time (and can cause your body to stop making its own, shutting down your ovaries). The ONLY people that should be getting any significant amounts are post-menopausal women.

well i got pregnant but with a blighted ovum, i have been charting 17 months and used soy and then this, so im not sure if its the soy coincednece maybe but im abit annoyed and upset as my 3rd scan today revealed a empty sac so im thinking could be soy its the onyl thing i did differentrly
