Hi ladies does anyone know if it is okay to drink soy milk during pregnancy? I drink Silk, but I havent drank it since I got my :bfp: so was wondering if anyone knew if it was okay to drink this. thanks xx

Yes Hun, perfectly fine. I couldn't handle milk and drank the soy. My dr said good way to get protein:) just watch out for artificial sweetners:) if there is like aspartame just drink in moderation, but usually all soy milk is organic anyways.

I had it nearly every day when I was pregnant with my first, and my doctor had no problem with it. My son was/is very healthy! As long as you don't overdo it on processed soy foods (1 or 2 servings a day, I'd think), you should be fine.

I'd say it's fine just make sure you have the unsweetened version :)

Thanks ladies!! Its a "light" version so its not as sugary. xx

I do not drink regular milk at all, and so have been getting extra calcium and vitamins by drinking a glass of light chocolate Silk every day.
