Hi Ladies

You might be interested to watch a programme that was shown last night on BBC Northern ireland called Special Deliveries its based on a Belfast hospital i didnt get to see it but intend watching it tonight on bbc iplayer.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00tqnr0

It seems to be on for 5 weeks.

xx

Just got round to watching this and its had me in tears when the wee babys were born! awhhhhhhh

xx

Ooooh, thank you! I'll be watching this tonight!

Just bumping this incase anyone missed it. Only a week left to watch the episodes on BBC Iplayer I think.

Can't believe the noise the women in episodes 1 and 2 make!! If I wasn't worried about giving birth I sure am now! xxx

aww wow glad this got bumped!
It makes me excited but bloody petrified all rolled into one

It's ace, it's like one born every minute we had in England. Really good, some of them frightened me in the first episodes but then the next few dealt with it alot better an reminded me of my first so I feel ok about it all now. Xx

I loved this program!!! Apparently a new series is starting soon?!

They're filming for the new series of One Born Every Minute just now! I'm sure I've heard ladies on here mentioning they might be taking part!

Just about to watch Special Deliveries Episode 3!

Does anyone know any other programs I can watch online - I don't have Sky or anything and get crappy basic freeview channels xx

try discovery, home and health, and living tv, generally do baby programs.

If you havent seen One born Every minute (should be on 4OD/Channel4 website) give that a try :)

cant wait for tonights special deliveries!! i love it! makes it all so real!

omg it just freaks me out, seeing them in pain i get a shudder up my spine, think il just go through the unexpected lol.

it actually helps me cause as things happen during labour i'll be able to think back to what ive seen and tell myself to relax and that its all normal! sometimes i close my eyes and think can i do this as im watching the mums deliver, but shes in there and she has to come out so ive no choice :haha:

Lol. Episodes 1 and 2 were pretty horrendous. Episode 3 was good and episode 4 wasn't all that exciting. Wonder what episode 5 will be like!
