Hi

I know they say DTD every day for 3 days when you get positive opk, but sperm normally survives at least 2-3 days - I have tried every day with no luck, so was thinking this time I will do every other day, so on day of positive opk as soon as I get it and then in 36-48 hours?

What do you think? would there be any reason why the sperm would not survie 2 days at least and this gives it time to travel etc.

Thanks
Zena

We do it everyday for a week around suspected OV and until my temps stay up for 3 days.

I don't know if its that sperm isnt surviving, it might just be that one little blighter didnt get into the egg this time?

Even if you time everything perfectly, its not a guarantee unfortunately :(

we spend years trying not to get pregnant and then when we want to its so hard!

Baby dust :)

As you say it is so difficult might be nothing to do with timing. I agree covering your basis for a week is a good idea, as ovulation can be delayed etc, some time i have postive opk and i ovaulate the same day and other times it is 2 days later. Do you use opks?

How long have you been trying? I went to the doctor this week just to have a chat, one think that was really clear to me was that even one drink can impact you to conceive. I don;t drink alot at all, but everything helps, so have now given up :)

Good luck
