Spotting after sex?

So my partner and I had sex last night, and everything was pretty normal. I woke up to go to work this morning, with sharp craming pains (not my period as I've just finished a few days ago) and light spotting, Would it be possible that some thing could happen so soon, or has he just irritated something?

Hi, where about in your cycle are you? I often get cramps around ov, accompanied by a bit of spotting, so it could be that your ovulating?

My cycle has been all over the place, my period usually comes around the 25th, but this month it showed up on the 15th, and finished on the 20th, so I'm a week into this cycle, possibly too early to be ovulating? Very confused, as normally, even when on implanon, my periods have been regular and predictable.
