Hey there :)
Firstly, try not to worry yourself over this, I know its hard, but you dont want to get yourself all worked up (god Im such a hypocrit)
Anyway, as many girls will tell you here from their experiences, spotting CAN be normal.
I had 2 bouts of it during the first tri and I was terrified. The first lot of spotting wasnt alot and it didnt even turn brown when it was on a pad, but the 2nd set looked like a period and that absolutely terrified me.
I was sent to EPU but they found no cause for a bleed, so they put it down to an irritated cervix.
Have you had sex recently? or (do excuse me for sounding rude) had ANYTHING around that region? I had to admit all sorts to the nurses at EPU, that's why they knew it was an irritated cervix (but we wont go into detail lol)

Anyhow, ALOT of women on here have had spotting, I think Wobs has had the most actually, and she and baby caitlin are just fine, so maybe she can shed a little more light on the situation. I just wanted to share MY experience with you. x x x x

I hope it's not something crtitical :(
Yes we had sex 2 days ago....could it be because of that?
Also i feel as though something is pulling my vagina....is this normal?

Well if you had sex 2 days ago, chances are thats whats caused the bleeding.
I do some strange things lol, and when I first started TTC, I heard about positioning of the cervix and being able to determine if youre pregnant from its feel and height etc:.. so like a fool, I started poking myself up there lol- and even when I found out I was preg I still did it just to see if the cervix had gone so high it was unreachable.... well, thats when I started bleeding, and quite badly too. Having to explain this at the EPU wasnt fun at all; All they could say to me was "Why? Why woman, WHY?? You dont know what youre doing up there" lol.
So yes, it is very possible that the sex caused the bleedin as your cervix has a very high volume of blood flow up there now, and is prone to easy irritation.. So thats prob the case, but to be on the safe side, tell your MW or dr x x x
As for the pulling pains in your 'flu' totally normal, I got them for AGES.

Thank you so much louise for your reply. I just ran in for an emergency visit and found the baby is doing good and the heart beat is around 174.

Dr.said the bleeding is due to Placenta lying close to the uterus opening and he said as the pregnancy progresses it moves away from the uterus opening.

Can someone tell me about Placenta previa, is this normal? how long will my bleeding continue?

Not to big of a deal to have a placenta previa in early pregnancy. Here is a link that can tell you a bit about it.
