sry tmi! hemorrhoids

So since second tri I've had pretty bad hemorrhoids (no idea if im spelling thay right) even when I don't strain at all I still get them! They aren't super painful they don't bleed or itch its just rly uncomfortable and awkward...they usually go down about 30-45 min after a BM...but now that delivery is so close I'm FREAKING OUT. what is gonna happen ehen I have ti push baby out if they r this bsd when I'm not even straining?!?! And how long will those take to go down if they're a zillion times worse?? And does the problem go away after delivery or is it something ill always have to deal with? Ugh.

A very common side effect of pregnancy. Unfortunately they'll likely get worse before better. And when I had them with my third they didn't fully go away until I stopped breastfeeding (around 14 months) there's something about the hormones that causes them to stick around. A good remedy is a hot sitz bath, witch hazel soaked pads applied to the area after BMs and zinc cream in btwn time.
