Do you have to/should you switch to the Stage 2 Formula at 6 months?
Obviously you don't "have" to do anything I guess but should I? I'm using Nestle Goodstart Probiotic. Has anyone not switched?
I have lots of coupons for the first stage still and would like to use them if I can but if the 2nd stage will be better for him in the long run .... shrug. Suggestions? Did you switch to the next stage?

It's totally up to you the only difference is it contains more iron but if your baby is eating well then its not necessary xx

hey hun you dont have to switch. The 2nd stage just keeps them fuller for longer. My midwife/health visitor both told me 2nd stage is not necessary unless baby really isn't getting full from stage one anymore xx

I don't switch and it's not even something that's used in the US - we all just stay on the same formula until age 1. The only stage 2 formula we have here is for toddlers. Stick with what your on, imo. Yeah, it has more iron, but it also has less of some other nutrients because they figure lo is getting them from food. No reason to switch at all really.
