Starting Clomid

So tonight I have just taken my last Provera and now just waiting on AF coming so I can start Clomid CD 2-6. This will be my first round of Clomid so no idea how I'll react, hopefully I'll not experience too many side affects!

Anyone else starting soon?

Good luck!!!!! I know lots of ladies here have had a great response to Clomid! Unfortunately I didn't respond but I only went up to 100 mg. I didn't really have any side effects.

What is your dosage?

Thanks for your reply! No sign of AF yet from me so I've still not started! What time of days are you taking yours? Seems that many ladies take theirs in the evening so they sleep through any side effects! I work with a group of people much younger than me so would hate to wonder what they thought if I started having hot flashes at work! ������

Hi! I've taken Clomid both in the evening and in the morning and to be honest I don't feel like it makes a difference. Depends on your dose. I took 100mg in the evening but this time I'm only on 50mg and I have been taking it first thing in the morning and I've actually not experienced much. I get some night sweats and I've had a bit of an acne breakout but that's about it. The only thing I do experience with Clomid is really painful ovulation but apparently everyone gets that! Good luck!

I have been taking it at night with 2 tylonol PM. My side effects happen more the few days after the last pill. The first few days after I finished my pills I had daytime nausea and headaches and some mild hotflashes at night.

I've got 2 more days of Provera after today...
But then I'm on to my round of Clomid 100 mg.
I've taken Clomid 2x before sporadically, but this is the first time my doc has upped me from 50 mg.

Last cycle I took it at night but ended up getting crazy insomnia from it so I am planning on taking it in the morning this cycle, I think it all depends on your body you never really know what is going to happen.

No I've not started yet as still no sign of AF It's been 7 days since my last Provera but I'm not sure when I should expect it! Did you o on your last round?

I did. I ovulate on my own but my doctor is trying to get multiple eggs to increase our chances and I only had one mature follicle last cycle. I had 4 follicles total 3 just didn't quite make it so I'm hoping we won't get too many with the increased dosage we will see though!

I have heard it can take up to 10 days after the last pill, don't quote me on that though

That's what the clinic said today, if nothing by day 11 I've to ring them back. It's all so much waiting! Ah well fingers crossed for you this will be your month!

I've not been able to start my Clomid yet as AF still hasn't showed since my last Provera so I'm just waiting!

Aww, thanks for asking It sure is a bummer! I'm not sure what will happen, if I'll get a higher dose of Provera or if they'll want to do more tests

Today, Wednesday, is day 10 for me so I'll be ringing the clinic on Thursday if still no sign though I've no symptoms whatsoever that AF is on its way so I'm certainly not hopeful

I was dizzy for a while but walking around work doing a "drunk sway" was much better than insomnia I just noticed that our little guys have close birthdays! Asher just turned 5 on July 6th! How are you feeling about the age gap??

Yes I think I'd prefer that to a sleepless night too haha! Are you being monitored this round?

Still no sign of AF for me so I called today and I'm booked in for a scan on Monday to see what's happening with my lining. Not sure what the next steps will be though. Yes mine turns 5 on 14th August. I'm not sure about the age gap, on one hand I feel like I must be mad to want to go back to having a newborn when DS is becoming so independent but on the other hand I think it will be easier now that if he was younger as he can do so much more for himself now and will be at school soon. How about you? Did you plan on such a gap?
