...10 months ago I had an early m/c

...7 months ago I was thrilled to get another BFP

...4.5 months ago I had 2 heavy bleeding episodes (hematoma) and was told no interventions would happen because baby was far from viable yet

...4 months ago I had contractions & was told I was miscarrying

...1 month ago I was told I might have food poisoning & without heavy doses of IV antibiotics, my baby could get infected and be stillborn

...1.5 weeks ago I was told my cervix was down to only 4 mm and was at risk of ptl. Home bed rest.

...1 week ago my water broke (pProm) & I was told my son would be born within the week, extremely premature. Hospital bed rest.

My little boy is a fighter. He keeps beating the odds. He's still holding on and thriving inside. Here's to another week!

really hoping things work out for you xx

Congrats on getting through 3 more weeks (so far!!!) after finding out you are at risk of ptl. Sending you warm wishes that everything goes well & your pregnancy continues for many more weeks.:hugs: What puts you at risk for ptl?

Thank you! Had a sudden massive bleed At 30+2, got examined and they found baby engaged, cervix open and dilating! Got the steroid shots overnight and am now on "house arrest" staying horizontal and on progesterone. Everyday is a blessing indeed.

Keep positive!! Will be on the look out for updates from you.

Go mama! you are doing one hell of a great job at keeping that baby safe, You are amazing

Best of luck.
I pPROMed at 27+4 I am now 35 weeks. It's mentally such a challenge but a few of us are lucky and are in the 2 % that get to go full term.

Once again I wish you the best of luck and it won't take long for you to be sitting back and being amazed at how far you have come.

I just want to say that you ladies are a true inspiration. I'm sending you all good vibes and here's hoping all babies stay put till 40 weeks! You can do it!!! Xxx

Myra, thinking about you and hoping you & your boy are doing well:hugs:

Wishing4 wow that is inspirational! Well done!

Connor Snake C. born April 17th at 5:11pm at 29 weeks and 3 days. He weighed in at a whopping 3 lbs and 7 oz!!!! All docs and nurses were surprised at how big he was. He further impressed everyone by letting out some good cries right after he was born, meaning his lungs were doing well. Our little overachiever also hasn't had to be put on a breathing tube but has been breathing room air (sometimes with a CPAP) since he was born.

Connor had his first feedings overnight and he is tolerating them very well so far!

Yet another thing that is surprising nurses here is that I'm already producing milk. My 1st nurse told me not to wait til morning to start pumping, so 3 hours after he was born, I started. Pumping every 3 hours. I'm making just enough now to meet his feeding needs (they start low) and hoping to continue increasing my milk production. Because he was born under 30 weeks, he's eligible under our hospital's program for donor milk if he needs additional. So we signed him up for that.

We're still taking things hour by hour, day by day but are very encouraged by his first day and a half.
