Title says it all really...

What are you planning to use? Why? Any recommendations??

I plan to breastfeed but express once established I will need to sterilise soothers etc and parts of my pump....

Thank youuuuuu!!!!

I have a microwave one which i used with my daughter but never cleaned my pump in it i put that in a pan an boiled it with a bit of milton! My friend said her pump melted in her steriliser.

I had the microwave one with my son but this time ive got an electric one and its smaller than the microwave one, i put my pump in the sterilizer n it was fine tho lol

The really experienced guy in John Lewis said the electric Phillips avent one is the best one at the moment £35 and that's what he's bought for his daughters to use with their kids.

Has anyone any experience with a cold water system? Seems very convienent?

I'm got a MAM one which you can either put in the microwave or use the cold water method.

Cold water sounds dead easy for lazy old me but apparently it makes things smell a bit chemically.

I just don't understand the others when they say sterilise 6 bottles but once opened they don't stay sterile.

Yer the milton one seems very good. The bottles can stay in there till you need them as long as they've been in for 15mins they are sterile...

I've heard about the smell but you can rinse them with recently boiled water but they are safe and can't do baby any harm though....

Just seems fairly easy for popping in dummies and toys and allsorts really ...

It just seems so easy doens't it. To be honest you could use any old bucket with the milton tablets it doesn't have to be their special blue one.

My mum bent my arm with the MAM steriliser saying I could use it for either I was just going to go for the cold water one.

I have an electric one... my friend gave it to me so I didn't have to buy one lol. Ddin't come with anythng though, just the steriliser.

XxX

Thats a fab idea claire...

Just find a cheap tub with a 2.5 and 5 litre marker perhaps just for ease of measuring out when using it!!
