someone told me today you dont have to sterilize baby bottles after 6 months, is that right?

Ive always done it up to 12 months . xx

you dont have to, but i sterilised until i stopped using, more out of habit and routine that anything else

i sterlize first then use the dishwasher to wash them and they get sterilized in there. i would simply because it's not difficult to do and it's better to be safe than sorry

are you not supposed to clean them before you sterilise? i always did

I thought it was until 12months - I still sterilise my bottles.

TBH I don't think there's any point once they start crawling, bit silly to be sterilising bottles when bubs is going around the floor on their hands! LOL.

sterilise milk bottles as they r the breeding ground 4 bacteria so do streilise til 12 months. other stuff like bowls and spoons and juice cups r ok 2 not b sterilised. oh and if u use dummies they r a source of throat infections so i'd sterilise them 2.
