I've been reading how a lot of toddlers enjoy playing with stickers and I was wondering which ones you use? I saw a set from Crayola but they are for 4 year olds. Do you just go with something like that anyway or are there ones that are better for younger toddlers?
Very grateful for any recommendations :flower: :)

Im in my phone so cant see where you are but, in the uk bnm do these pads of stickers you get thousands. I think they say 3+ but we let my LO use them from about 1. The bnm pad is about 99p. They are just normal stickers.

I imagine crayola stickers are expensive, you can get sticker books from the pound shop that will keep them entertained for ages

Oooh thank you ladies! I was wondering about the price actually yes! And yes I am in the UK! Will hit the pound-shop this weekend! Yay! :happydance:

Yep I've always gone to the pound shop for stuff like that, they do all sorts of sticker and activity books in there :D

I love some of the books they had there, it was about colours and shapes and opposites. My boys love those books. But somehow I just never looked for colouring stuff or stickers there. Will do this weekend!

We just use any kind that are cheap. When she was first starting out, I found that stickers that were a bit thick and stiff were much easier for her to peel herself, and the ones that come on a sheet of plastic with space around each sticker are easier than the ones where all the stickers touch or have a sort of stickery border. I hope that makes sense!

Edit: I mean this kind is easier than this kind.

Micah loves all stickers, OH just bought him a pad of 'reward' stickers. I think they're aimed at teachers but you get 1000s for about £1!

Like a pp said, I use the plasticky stickers that are raised rather than flat as they are easier for Joni to peel. Actually I get expensive ones (paperchase), I give her about one or two sheets a week, you don't get as many but she peels them back off and sticks them back on so she's happy. I'm going to get her a sticker book with the plastic waxy pages this week so she can peel them off more tones before the stick is all done. Peeling them off and sticking them down again is her main enjoyment from them so it gets a bit frustrating on paper when it all rips. Stickers is one of her absolute top activities of all time x

Ps I get the expensive ones because a) very thin paper ones get all creased before she can stick them down and b) the stickers get absolutely everywhere- I think the paperchase ones are really cute so if my carpets and walls and clothes have to be decorated with stickers then those are the ones I choose!! X

I just ignore the age limit and take it as "if your child is under the age 4, watch her like a hawk if you plan on letting her play with them" my child would just eat them.

The waxy paper albums are good, we were given a hungry caterpillar one for Christmas and it is great that he can reuse the stickers. You could use greaseproof paper to the same effect I think!

Just to pre warn you, your house is likely to get covered in stickers, the oven, walls, wooden floor, fire place, you, your youngest forehead etc... We just buy a load of cheap ones - smaller round/square stickers are easier to peel off than ones in a weird shape xx

Wilko's do some nice dinosaur ones, my lo loves them. Not the cheapest (50 for £1), but they are firmer and much easier to peel off, will restick for a while too.

For those of you whose kids eat everything, I've found my LO will try to eat small stickers, but the pediatrician's office gives big ones (about 2 inch x 2 inch), still on the paper. He loves to just hold them, haha. It's so cute. It cheered him up so much after a vaccine! (Otherwise he eats everything…) Just a tip.

I think crayola stickers would be expensive but you can get cheap sticker sets from most pound shops or discount shops. Holly loves playing with stickers and she sticks them all over the fireplace!

I just buy cheap stickers at the dollar store. Rhys is still a bit young to get them off himself so I just give him a piece of paper and sit with him and hand him the darn things

I agree with you here!!! Emily loves stickers but I find them ALL over the house, I even found them in my knickers drawer the other day!!
I get them in discount stores (in Ireland there's good ones called €2 saver or Deals) I'm going to stock up on them for holidays in the hope they'll keep her quiet for all of 10 mins of the plane!!

Tesco sell sticker books too! Cheap! My 21 month old is obsessed with stickers! X

We got a huge book from TKMAXX. Other than that my LO loves stickers that come with magazines, because you usually have to stick them in the right place they don't end up all over the house!

I got a set of reuseable stickers bh melissa and doug on amazon and theyre excellent. ive had other "reuseable" stickers which just werent, but these are! Ive had crayola ones but these are waaay better. i think these were £4.99 but you get five sets of stickers and five scenes to put them in. there.are.farm animals, sea creatures, dinosaurs, african animals and jungle animals and dd just loves them and will play for ages over and over again. it says for 3yrs on the packet but dd doesnt habe a problem with them.
