I'm 5 DPO today and i'm still getting positive OPK's. The line is as dark if not darker than the control.

I'm beginning to think there's something wrong with me! I didn't get this before my miscarriage!

Any ideas? I've now had 7 days of postives?!

I'm not sure hun, but i've heard so many stories about women retaining some tissue from their m/cs and they tissue still give them HCGs, which is why their OPKs and HPTs are still positive even after months.
some women even get bleeding and all and thought it was their period but turned out the body was still trying to expel the tissue.

did you go for a internal scan like 14 days after your d&c or m/c to check for retained placenta/tissue?
best test with a hpt of similar sensitivity and see if it gives your positive as well? if it gives u a positive, then its probably time to go and do a blood check.
i had a mmc at 6+6 but the surgeon did a good job n my hcg was zero 8 days after that. went for an internal scan yesterday, dr said everything looks clean and healed and closed, so told me I could start ttc rightaway.

No i didnt need a scan as I did a preg test 2 weeks after my mmc and it was negative and i've had my AF after mc aswell which was the first of June. I've been testing since cd 10 and they were negative but changed to positive on cd15 and have been positive since, even though i've already ovulated- i'm 5 DPO now.

maybe your body is stressed and it tries over and over and over again to ovulate?

An Ovulation Predictor Kit is, in general, a useful way to determine when ovulation will occur. An OPK checks for lutenizing hormone (LH) which peaks just before ovulation and prompts the release of the egg.
As with any home test, an OPK is not perfect. For example, you may catch the very end of the LH surge, and be too late to conceive. Some women have generally high LH levels, making it difficult to know when you are truly ovulating. Sometimes polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) can cause elevated LH levels, and a woman with PCOS may or may not actually ovulate.
You might also get a positive OPK result and not ovulate under other circumstances. For example, your body can prepare to ovulate, leading to an LH surge, and then your body fails to release an egg due to illness, stress or some other cause. Once the egg fails to release, your LH surge will drop and youer cervical mucus will dry up. Your body may try to ovulate again once the stress factor is resolved, or you may not ovulate again until your next cycle. It is a good idea to chart other signs of ovulation, such as basal body temperature and cervical mucus to confirm that the LH surge does indeed indicate ovulation.
Finally, Clomid may cause false positives to occur. Check with your physician to see when a reliable OPK can take place if you have been taking Clomid or other fertility medications.

But the thing is i've already ovulated! My temps and fertility friend have shown it on my chart. I hate my body, it's useless.

I'm sorry hun, i have no idea cause i don't use the internet cheapies. maybe try with something more reliable like the clearblue digital OPK or clearblue monitor and see what you get?

That would be a good idea, why didn't i think of that haha.

I'm using tesco ones which have always been fine for me before so i really don't know whats going on. It would be nice if my body could behave so we can get serious on this ttc business!

good luck hun fxed!
agree completely with the body being cheeky after the m/c. mines being funny as well, think its the hormones.
i keep telling myself, if I don't get pregnant again by next month and my body refuses to cooperate, then i might just stop ttc for a while and head off to tibet for 4 weeks in september. its so frustrating all this ttc stuff.
