Still have BFP

I had my erpc two weeks ago yesterday and I am still getting a very clear bfp. Is this normal? I know it is different for everyone but just wanted to know if this happened to anyone else?

I'm just feeling so peed off with it all and really down. My symptoms are going e.g. boobs have reduced, not feeling so sick etc but was really hoping for a bfn by now.

Please help.

Oh hun,

It does take a few weeks to return to normal, but the HPT should be getting fainter. Has the hospital been checking your levels?

Hiya - have absolutely no idea - my miscarriage was an early natural one which started around xmas day and was complete according to hosp by 5th Jan. My blood levels were tracked down to level 13 at the hosp and I did a home preg test a week later which was BFN.

I think with an ERPC generally it takes a while longer for things to return to normal but as usual guess everyone responds differently.

Im still feeling rubbish too, have had ever symptom poss I think, still no AF and last time I tested was still BFN so who knows whats goin on lol

Hopefully u'll get that bfn soon and start to feel a bit better too. Am sure someone with more knowledge will post soon

Hi Widger.

I have also still got a BFP when testing! I had my D+C on 12th Jan. I was pregnant with twins and MMC at about 6 weeks. I have been told that there are more hormone with multiple babies, but not sure if it is true.

I am contemplating going back to the doctors to get a blood test to see what is happening. I want that BFN right now, as you do hun and it is even more waiting now for that! Does theis waiting game never end!! Ha Ha

I know me too. Just want that BFN do i can put all this behind us (but never forget my 3 angel babies).

As soon as we get that BFN, we can try again properly and get on with lots of loving!!

My consultant said it can take up to 6 weeks to get a bfn
