Hi wantobeamum

Firstly, I'm really sorry for your losses

I think if you haven't had any tests done it would definitely be worth it. A friend of mine had 3 m/cs and firstly they couldn't find anything that might have been causing it but eventually they discovered she had fibroids. She had these removed and then went on to conceive a beautiful baby girl. She's now pregnant with her second child and is about 5 months along.

So don't give up hope

Fingers crossed for you xx

sorry, I just saw you did say you've had some tests done! Do you know how much this covered? As I said, with my friend they initially said everything was ok and she was quite persistent to get more tests (also she's over 35 so was worried time was running out) - and in the end they sent her to a specialist unit for further tests.

Also - have you heard of an organisation called Foresight - they test your hair for mineral and vitamin deficiencies and claim that they help 75% of couples that have had trouble conceiving to go on to have full-term pregnancies. I haven't tried them myself but my friend recommended them too. She said it worked out about £200 in total for all the tablets they recommended but she thought this might have also helped.

I've been taking maca tablets myself to help with regulating hormones and so far these seem ok - not sure if they've helped yet with TTC as this is my first cycle since taking them

Good luck xx

thanx hunni i will chat to docs if nuffin this time but i have a few symptoms atm so fingers crossed

Sorry for your losses, just wanted to say you are amazing to keep your strength up through this, good luck xx

I am so sorry for your losses. Reading your post gives me strength I have just suffered my third loss this year and it is heartbraking my hubby and I have an appointment on the 1st Dec for further testing so cant try untill then but I am so scared that I am not strong enough to cope with trying again the thought of another loss just terrifies me my third loss is very recent so I'm sure in time I will find the strength. You give me hope and belief that I will find it. :hugs:

Hey,

I am sooo sorry for your loses it never does get any easier..

Do you believe you had ever test possible done?

I suffered from 5 MC with my husband and went private for testing purely because I could not bring myself to wait for the NHS and I was soooo upset I wanted answers - they did compatibility testing which wouldn't of been done on the NHS and that’s why they reckoned I was MC.

Maybe its worth trying to get a 2nd referral or going private or trying to go to a different hospital / Dr.

It must be soooo upsetting for you and I really hope that the next little been sticks for you. xxxx

hi what is compatability testing?

Its immune testing. Testing that can tell whether you and OH can match or whether you are likely to MC.

Some drs recommend it others dont like the idea.

If you have it done you get injected with your OH white blood cells into your body and you are less likely to MC (because you are carrying his white cells around in you)and then the egg and sperm are in harmony together rather than rejecting the baby because you are not compatible with your OH.

Hope I have explained it ok....

you did!

i've not heard about that before, so thats really interesting!

So is that what i have done with your current pregnancy then? How far along are u?

11.5 weeks i think - so far so good scan on Thurs so we will see.

Hope you all get some good advice and help and reasons for your MC as they are the worst thing in the world and there is light at the end of the tunnel . Fingers crossed for you all xxxx
