Sorry in advance ladies if this post is TMI but for the last 3 days my discharge seems to have changed colour and is now a light brown colour. Is this normal or should I be worried and tell my midwife? It's not increased in volume or anything though. Could this be a sign?

I'm confused a little bit. Any advice ladies?

Hmm, I'd give my midwife a call hun! Could be the start of something.xx

is it mucous like? could be the start of your plug coming away? x

No not that I've noticed but I have been wearing a pantyliner so maybe thats soaked it a bit? It just seems like my usual discharge, just a light brown colour, similar to what I used to get before or after my period maybe?

hmm - not sure it's any cause for concern but might be the start of your plug. i went for a walk yesterday and that caused me to lose mine, maybe try the same if you can! x

Thanks:flower:
I've been for a walk today, so hopefully if it is my plug it might come away soon. Does it usually come out all together?
Think I'll see what happens tonight and give my midwife a ring in the morning just to check

mine was a big blob in the bottom of the toilet  but have been losing a lot more mucous upon wiping ever since, so could be either way i think? start toilet checking! x
