Still in pain 3 weeks post op...

How much pain were you in 3 weeks post op?

I had been doing alright, not much pain, able to move around etc, but these last few days, for most of the day I'm in a bit of pain. It's more above my scar but below belly button, than the actual wound. It's a kind of bruised sharp pain, like someone is stabbing me with a blunt knife.

Has anyone else felt this a few weeks post op? Trying to decide if normal or not. I can't remember how I felt after my first section, it was too long ago!!

Hmmm, I can't remember feeling that specific feeling during recovery, but I know that I was far from ship-shape at that point. When in doubt, call your doctor or midwife.

To update - health visitor came by today and said it's probably ligament pain/uterus contracting back down, and that it's going to be sore. So nothing to worry about, just not very nice!!

I am 3 weeks post too and I have bruised pain I think where you are saying too. It's where all my extra skin is hanging. It has also. Been itchy.
