Still not bleeding after "chemical Pregnancy" A little worried.

Hello All,

So did a CB Digi on Friday night which flashed "Pregnant 1-2 weeks". I did another test the following morning and every morning since and recived "Not Pregnant" and also negative SD tests, so I figured it must be a chemical pregnancy. I still have no bleeding at all.

I still have sore bbs and have had a few achy pains in my lower back so I'm wondering if someone could tell me please if it took them a while after to start bleeding thank you x

Sorry i cant be of much help here but didnt want to read and run. How many days late is AF? Do you think it might be worth trying one more test?

Hi I didn't bleed straight away I cant remember how long as was a while ago but I remember thinking the same as you- how long has it been? x

It's probably worth seeing a doctor about this, in my opinion.

Wendy I'm not sure when i'm due as I haven't had AF since February. I had a bit of brown spotting on the 7th of May, which I thought was my AF but now thinking it wasn't.

I'm since feeling a little PG, but from experience I know the symptoms could be due to impending bleeding.

Have just done a one step IC and I do see a shadow of something, but my pee was practically like water so gonna do one last test later and see what happens then. I did do OPK this morn which produced a positive line where as yesterday it was lighter. (POSA I know LOL)

Arghhh so confused. Wish my stoooopid body would get sorted out!!

Hi Gilberts,

I had a chemical in January... around the time my period was due i got lots of brown discharge... abuot 3 days later i tested and got positive result 1-2 weeks... this lasted for about 3 days then turned to negative, i started bleeding about 3 days later. I would give it a day or 2 and if you havent had any bleeding see your doctor.

Well decided not to bother with seeing the Dr (they're pretty useless round here anyhoo)

Did a few IC's last night which had shadows of pink on most of them, but did a tescos own this AM which was neg. I just did an OPK and have a blazingly strong positive. I couldn't be ovulating again so soon could I? x

Continuously positive OPKs can be a sign of pregnancy, or at least pregnancy hormones still being present.

If your doctor is useless, find another one. I do not think there are any medical professionals active on this part of the forums, and even if they are, you need to be checked by someone who knows what they're doing.

Still no bleeding, still pos OPKs and neg PG tests and can't get an appointment with GP until next Tuesday, to get bloods done. Temps also up still.

Feeling so pooey today.

Well a couple of days later and still positive dark opks and neg hpts. Still not bleeding. Temps staying up also.

Some women just dont get pos hpts until really late in, I would really recommend you go and see a doc and ask for a blood test. pos opks can def indicate pregnancy.

Silly me I've just done a clearblue plus (only ones available at short notice) and a faint thick blue line came up within a couple of minutes. I've had various evaps off these, but nothing like this one. It still has the famous darkened thin line but theres colour in the rest of the line too. Will have to get another FRER tomoz oooo....

Did the other CB this morning and i belive it was neg. Just checked CP and it's super high, but with light brown cm.

There was a thread recently about HPTs coming up negative because of too MUCH hormone in your urine. The poster suggested weeing in the toilet as usual and then dipping the test stick in the toilet water as you would a urine sample, and that the dilution would help to give more "normal" levels of hormone which the test can detect. Maybe worth a go?
