Erk, I hope there isn't another one! We can do without that, could really do with some sleep! The little man has me up half the night as it is without other things waking me up. We haven't felt any aftershocks here since about lunchtime when the sofa jolted while I was watching TV. Hope the Drs is still standing and can see you!

I'm in NZ too hun, in chch it was scary aye. i thought we were going to die i woke up that scared! Apparently there is another aftershock to come at about 6 on the scale. And power and water are supposed to be off tonight

oh wow really i hope not i to scared, might do lisa's idea and put some blankets and what not under the table. is your house okay?
we are fine thank god we dont have insurance because i missed 2 payments when my internet was down about a month ago.

im just so glad that knowone has died, and glad it didnt happen when i was at work we do eathquake drills but do 3 and 4 year olds really remember all the stuff in an earthquake..

do you have water and power?

We ae lucky only little things fell, like a few pictures and some paintings on the wall. Videos, cards, mirrors, that sort of thing. Oh and the bloody torch flew off the fridge so we couldn't find it in the power cut

We got power and water at about 10.30 this morning. So far still all good. Do u guys? Are you in chch yea?

The after shocks are still abit scary aye. I hope we dont get woken up to another big one

YIKES! Libby how did I miss this post. Sorry sweety *hugs* WOW kinda exciting and scary too for you all. Am so glad you are all okies. My best mate lives is in Picton and would have just got home this week after being over here for 3 months OOOOOOOO.
