Still struggling with girls names. How about these?

I voted for Gabrielle -- me & my brother both had this name on our baby name lists -- but neither of us used it!

I also was thinking of Abrielle / Abriella since Gabrielle is pretty popular -- plus i prefer the nn "Abby" over "Gabby" -- Also, love "Bria" or "Ella" as nicknames...

Love Eden, as well...!

I actually really like your name choices :) I voted for Gabrielle, have never met anyone with the name but it seems very pretty and girly.

I grew up with a girl called Verity, we all used to call her 'V' because when we were younger (bare in mind about 5 years old) we couldn't pronounce her name! Either way, it isn't very common and really suits an adult as well.

Thanks everyone, never thought of Vera as a nn, hmm quite cute. So Verity and Eden are in the lead at the mo, but not much in it.
Is Eden a bit hippy dippy though? Sorry no offence to anyone who wants this name.

I LOVE Eden!

ETA: just read your hippy remark, and everyone says I like all the nature, hippy names lol

I like them all, I voted for Emily. But I think Verity is only OK. It has a witchy sense to it for me. Like it is abrupt? But if you like it, use it ;)

Thanks everyone, looks like Emily is winning at the moment, but I still like Eden, Love Eden Rose.

Lol... that is going to be my girls name, Eden Rose (unless it changes somehow again) and I have gotten nothing but compliments on it. I think it is sweet and flows well an I don't think it is too out there or hippyish. It is different, but not sooo different - unique but not off the wall. I say go for it!

I voted Eden, I love that name!!! (DH doesn't..). I also love Verity and Gabrielle from your list! Emily and especially Hannah I just know soooo many..so they're a little too over-used for my taste these days (here in the US atleast). Good luck!

My LO is Eden, so that's obviously my favorite choice! One thing I get with her name, oddly enough, is that people assume it's a boy's name. I don't mind androgynous names, but find this very strange because it just seems like such a feminine name to me! Am I right?

Hubby keeps saying he thought it was a boy name , I think it sounds very femine and is quite an old name according to my baby name book.

Hubby also says Willow is a boy name, as its a footballer, argggh

lol. We had Willow on our list too... again, clearly feminine to me!
