i lost Flump in May 2009, a mmc.
i went on to have a beautiful amazing little boy november 2010,
im now 5w pregnant and terrified, i cant seem to relax, i want to poas every day, even though i knw from bitter experience it doesnt mean anything
i would really like an early scan but mw wont send me for one before 8w, which feels an age away.
i dont even know if theres anything any of you can say or anything i want you to say , i just needed to get it all out,
i'm full of cold, hormonal and tired

Hi,

I don't post much here anymore (but look up some of my old posts/threads!), but it's normal how you feel! Just because you got your rainbow after your mc (mine was in August 2009; LO arrived safely in Feb 2012), dosn't mean that you still won't worry. My OH and I are 'talking' about trying again -- in another year or so, tho (and I'm 44 now), but I would be worried as well (not just due to age)...Just take it one day at a time, try not to get too worried or anxious and look forward to each milestone.

As for a scan, you could go private for an earlier scan, perhaps, but if you are like me, probably won't relax until LO is safely in your arms...!

best wishes (and congrats!)

had a scan just after 8w and all was well, im now able to find thumper on my doppler daily, such a reassurance - just need the next 30w to fly over and then thumper will be safely in my arms

Congratulations! and best of luck with everything! Its reassuring to see everyone worries. If i get as far as you, I'm definitely getting doppler too.
