Hoping for some ideas to put in hubby's stocking this year, please. He has been saying he really doesn't want too many sweets / chocolatesthis year, so will probably just get his favourites - jelly bellies, thorntons vienese truffles and a lindt strawberry cheesecake chocolate bar (got him one last year and he said it was possibly the best chocolate bar he'd ever had!). Trouble is he doesn't have any alternative suggestions! Socks, pants and toiletries are out - he only wears plain socks and every pair is the same so he doesn't have to think about pairing them, he has a drawer full of pants already, and he doesn't use any toiletries other than shower gel and aftershave (too expensive for stocking). And besides he has declared them all rubbish presents!

So, currently the only ideas I have are a wallet ninja and maybe a pair of pyjama trousers. Which doesn't make for a very full stocking!

Any suggestions?

gift card for starbucks/fave coffee shop,
carwash ticket for your nearest garage,
Voucher for the hair salon he uses,
travel mug for work,
hat/gloves,
any magazines he reads/ new book.

Underwear
Belt
Tie
Shaving supplies (cream/balm)
Voucher for anything he likes or i.e. gametime if he plays online
Personalized keychain

Maybe add some photo's of you and your kid's in his wallet and a cute message as well? Xxx

We are only doing stockings for each other this year theres no price but rule is it has to fit :winkwink:

Humorous boxers,
terrys choc orange.

Will prob get him some thermal socks and new photo keyring as his old one so scratched up.

Not sure what else either so will keep reading other posts for more inspriration :xmas12:

We're only doing Christmas stockings but we get to cheat slightly as we both have December birthdays and can swap presents around!

In his stocking he's got/getting:
M&M selection box
Avengers socks
Aftershave
Guy Martin book
Underwear

Probably a naff 'I love you' gift and then something from the kids too

What about some salt dough ornaments made by your lo's. Maybe their handprints or some for the tree. Photobox does nice polaroid style photos in a gift box. A gift box with home made vouchers: fave homemade meal, back massage etc. A magazine subscription, gig tickets. Cds or dvds.

It's just been hubby's birthday and I just got him a few smallish pressies.

I got him a torch that you can wind up/or usb charge to keep in his car. Also a remote control helicopter, which seemed to go down well!

I got him a few snacky food things that I know he loves (it doesn't have to be sweet stuff) Beers, crackers, doritos, biscuits, jar of jalapenos, bottle of hot sauce.

I think vouchers are always good for men even if its just so he could get a coffee or something. How about a few scratch cards. Car cleaning stuff. Voucher for car wash, so he doesn't have to clean it himself. Tools. Gloves, scarf, new tie.

I have got the following for my OH:

Star Wars Socks
Star Wars Pants
Star Wars Bubble Bath
Star Wars Hand Warmers
Weight Lifting Gloves
Chocolate Coins
Reese's Santa
Kinder Chocolates
Oreo Chocolate Eggs

A bit too much star wars :haha:

hubby has

honey jack daniels
christmas socks
christmas pants
toblerone
bath bomb
scratchcard
will get him a few other bits

Novelty beer bottle opener
A tie
A miniature whisky or any other alcoholic drink he enjoys
Gift Card
Cufflinks
Book
CD
Travel Mug
Headphones
Portable phone charger
Tools of some sort?
Tickets to a gig or a concert

I will be putting in hubby's stocking:

Gum
Tic tacs/mints
Toothbrush
Toothpaste
After Eights
Christmas Decoration
Chocolates
Razors
Scratch tickets
Gift card for Tim Horton's or some other coffee place

Not sure what else, I think that will be enough. I will also buy him bath stuff like shampoo/shower gel but may end up making that into a basket if it doesn't all fit in his stocking.
