stocking fillers for OH? - ideas needed

hi,

has anyone got any ideas as to what i can put in a stocking for OH? i usually do trial/travel size smellies, socks etc but he still has loads from last year (think i may have got too many. LOL!)

all i have for him so far is:

a wine gums pen and packet of wine gums


i have found a tin of mints with "celtic fc" on (who he supports) which i plan to get but i am totally stuck for what else.

Does he smoke? I'm getting a pack of 10 everytime i do the shop to put in my OH's stocking, aswel as novelty lighters, ashtray etc
Also some beer, little sample bottles of different aftershaves (cheap on ebay!) and maybe some cheapish novelty t-shirts

I usually get him choccy like a Santa from the poundshop or whatever, a tie, a puzzle book, more chocolate, and anything I pick up from Hawkins Bazaar that I think he might like.

some minatures of his favourite tipple....some jokes stuff like a whoopie cushion (which he can have fun playing pranks on the kids)....novelty flannel, simpsons or something......soap on a rope......gloves/scarf instead of socks.....belt.......best dad keyring....

they dont do miniture beers - he only drinks fosters/carling/stella (DOESNT DRINK SPIRITS)


he is nightmare!!! hence wh he usually get socks n smellies etc. at least i still have 2months to try and find bits.


i have just found and bought a celtic FC car air freshner on ebay, i willput up with looking at in car! (hopefully smells ok!)

So far for my OH I have planned..

- bookmark (he constantly dog ears the page! and it bothers me! LOL)
- new razors
- Timmy's giftcard (coffee shop chain here in Canada)
- different candies
- new deck of cards

And I'm not sure what else yet. I'd say simple things like new bodywash, shampoo, razors, shaving cream, etc. That's what we've always done, little things that are always needed, and then some other random little gifts.

I've only picked up a couple of little things for OH so far - a bird feeder and a book about exercises to do with a suit on (he's obsessed with both!!)... I'm going to get him an actual stocking nearer the time and get silly little things that only he would like, such as little packets of sweets, chocolate covered bananas, novelty socks (he's so embarrassing, drags me straight to the socks section in the supermarkets ). His big prezzie this year will prob be a watch. Depends on how poor I am.
To be honest, as long as you don't buy crap for the sake of it I'm sure your OH will appreciate whatever you give him

that is true. as i put earlier its not normally a problem as i get him trial/travel size bottles etc BUT i got him loads last yr and he hasnt used them all.

i really want a jokey present but dont know what. last year he got a design a beaver (not the animal!) LOL! from hawkins bazaar. year b4 he got a set of juggling boobs, year b4 that i got him a "working mans doodle pad" (outline of woman with no features) and b4 that he got a willy exerciser and a pack of dodgy adult playing cards!!!


may get socks (but he has a drawer full), other option is to put 1 of books i've got him in there.

What about movie? Here we have certain stores that have bins with movies that are like 2 for $10. That's an inexpensive gift that could be thrown in? Books, scratch tickets?

Underwear you like.. my OH is getting boxer briefs, lol.
He works in a trade so I am also getting him heavy winter-weight work boot socks.
Coffee shop gift card
Lighters
Candies he likes (toffees, Snowballs)
Maybe a beer boot..
and probably some cigars or something.

Yeah, movies! Try Matalan, they always have cheapo DVDs and see if there's something he likes?
Last year I brought OH some racing tuc-tucs from M&S Maybe you could try iwantoneofthose.com... they always have funky stuff! xx

If you want jokey type things-
2 yrs ago we bought hubby's best mate an executive ball scratcher! came in a posh presentation box! think it was about £9

Or you could get him some chocolate boobs or jelly boobs (they do these in BHS when they get their xmas stuff in)

you could also get him a boob bath pillow- again i think BHS do these!
