Way before I was even pregnant, I've always loved the Stokke and thought this is what we'd have once we had a baby. Ater falling pregnant and looking at them properly though, we decided that they were probably too expensive, and maybe also too big for me (I'm only 5'5" and don't drive so would be pushing it everywhere!)

We've since seen the new Quinny Moodd and absolutely love it (with the white frame in either pink or brown) It's smaller and seems so much more manageable for me. We were ready to get it ordered once we had our 20 week scan and could settle on a colour.

BUT, I can't stop from going back to the Stokke, seen a few out and about and get so jealous that I won't be having one!

Does anyone have experience with either and can give me a bit of advice/reviews etc? Or even if you haven't got either, which do you prefer and would rather have?

Thanks xx

The pictures are huuuge, sorry!

Personally I much prefer the quinny, the stokke just looks odd and I really don't like he way the push handle goes in between the baby's legs
And also like you said its big and chunky x

The second one looks so cool! We don't have anything like that in New Zealand. The first one looks boring.

I voted Stokke because I absolutley LOVE them! I think they are brilliant & have such great features like the child being up so high, the two wheel mode for going up stairs, being able to use it as a high chair etc etc xx

We are going for the quinny moodd when the time comes - the reviews so far have been fab x

I've seen the mood. I think that your babys les would be dangling for ages before the reach the foot rest as it's actually quite far from the seat.

I think we probably will go with the Quinny, it will save us probably at least £200! Do love that Stokke though.......

xx

I'm glad you put this....i LOVE the Stokke and can't quite find anything like it..the only other pram i like is the Mood and my closest friend who's due the month before me is getting one so i feel like i can't. I love eating out and the stokke is sooo handy for this. Sorry not much help but i'm totally with you in the dilema.

oh and i've considered I candy's, oyster, silver cross & Jane slalom and still go back to the Stokke (only problem is im 5.4") haha xxxxx

Just bought the quinny moodd and love it! Was going to get the buzz initially and looked at thousands of other prams! Love how simple it is to use and also the baby nest which comes with it so no need for a carrycot if you don't want one! Also big chunky wheels for dog walking :-D

I personally hated the stokke..it felt really cheap and unstable especially for the money.

And I have had quinnys with my previous LO's and they were fab!

I am trying to decide between the quinny and the bugaboo at the mo!

Remember tho, its a really personal thing and the only person that can choose is you!

Elle xx

I'm trying to decide between the Stokke Xplory and the Mima Xari (Flair) .... I love them both!!!

Thanks for the new input, but I actually bought the black and red Moodd about 8 or 9 weeks ago!!

lmao when i read the title, i thought we were voting on baby names!!!!!
i was like Oh god lol if it were names id choose quinny lol

from these pics i like the stokke though. :)

Two such gorgeous prams!!! I love them both, I'm so jealous lol. Ever since I was pregnant with my first I wanted the Stokke but we just couldn't afford it and plus I'm 4ft 11 lol. I recently saw one of the Quinny Moods and wow! I just fell in love, it's absolutely lovely.

Thanks for posting this!! I am having the EXACT dilemma between these 2 models!! Hubby didn't like the looks of Stokke saying it looks "too cold" and too from outer space. Plus car seat can't be put on chassis meaning we'd have to move sleeping baby for transfer which i don't really want... I didn't realize how "big" it is until i was at a store pushing one... i'm 5'3" just felt weird when i stood behind it, feeling kinda "swallowed up" by it.

The other thing i wasn't super crazy about the Stokke xplory is the bottom bag is outward facing. So if i needed something along the way, i'd have to go around it instead of just reaching down.

We ordered the Quinny Moodd last week (i'm at 33 weeks). i was content with the decision until i see a Stokke near me.. like you said, i was jealous! :p But now i feel better after reading this thread so THANK YOU!!

hello! :) would you get the Baby Cocoon or the Foldable CarryCot?? Our baby is due early November... So far i have ordered the FCC but wonder if Cocoon is better??

Stokke all the way, I had one with DD in 2007 and it's amazing, just bought a new one for this little princess, it's the roles Royce of prams,
Absolutely the best pram I have ever seen or had :)

You're so lucky! We're expats living in Switzerland and the Moodd in Europe (not sure about the UK) doesn't come with Babynest (Cocoon). I ordered the Foldable Carrycot over the Cocoon since it looks more sturdy for winter here I could put in blankets to make it cozy. But can't help but wonder if Cocoon would be better...

I'm desperate for a quinny moodd!! And it has to have a white frame so either pink or brown for me too! My best friend has a quinny buzz which she loved but she said the moodd was even better!
