Stopping smoking buddies/ support thread?

I'm not sure if anything like this is already around, so apologies if it is.

I've noticed there seems to be quite a few people wanting to or trying to give up smoking (myself included.)

I thought it might be nice if we had a thread to chat about ideas for quitting, how well we're managing to quit and for support, and also maybe to find buddies to help each other along

This is my 5th attempt at quitting since I found out I'm pregnant!! I've been seeing an advisor from fresh start at Boots and am using nicotine patches and inhalors.

And I'm determind to do it this time

So........ anyone else?

(Also, please can we try and keep negativity out of this thread. We all know how bad smoking is for our babies, but it's also incredibly difficult to give up, I don't want people to feel scared to admit they're still smoking.) Hopefully we can all support each other and give up together

good luck i tried giving up when i was pregnant with Abby so many times and sadly i`m 4months post natal and still smoking

I was lucky thankgod that around 5wks my sickness stopped me smoking.
