If storing baby food in ice cube trays..how do you prevent Freezer Burn?? Is it better to freeze food in storage containers??

I'm not sure if it's better but for ease of storage in my freezer I tend to freeze the purees in the silicon tray and then pop the cubes out and put them in a freezer bag. I just find I can get more in that way and can use the bag to write what it is, the date I made it etc.

I do the same as pinklizzie..a lot easier x

Tesco sell in their baby range something very similar to an ice cube tray but its made of little pots with lids, it's deeper than an ice cube tray but probably a similar length if space is a problem

im sorry bit off topic, but am i right thinking freezer burn is not unsafe?
is freezer burn basically where there is like a layer of visible white ice around the frozen food?
if that makes sense

Pound shop sell 10pk of little tubs, thats what i used :)
